Carson’s First Birthday Party

If you’re reading this, we hope you’re planning to join us to celebrate one year of Carson and one year of us keeping a tiny human alive (high fives)!

A few things to note:
  • Please RSVP to Stacy by October 21!
  • The party is outside so please plan accordingly. October weather can be fickle, so be sure to check the forecast. We will be covered, so the party is rain or shine, and heat lamps will be available if needed.
  • We will follow CDC and state regulations to keep everyone safe, especially Carson. The outdoor pavilion is large enough for social distancing. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided should they be needed.
Carson does not need anything, but for those asking, he does have an Amazon Wishlist. And/or, should you be so inclined, we invite you to make a donation to the Montclair Township Animal Shelter, where we got his sister and best friend, Rick O’Shea, in his name.

Thanks,
Stacy & Andy

Meet Carson

Hello, world! I’m new here.

While it’s been some time, we thought we should still formally announce the birth of our son, Carson Andrew Fagioli. Our sweet boy was born on November 1, after mommy spent all of Halloween in labor!

He’s our sunshine and we have loved watching him grow over the past few months. Here are some photos that the talented Olivia Christina (our wedding photographer!) took just a few weeks after he was born.

We’ve Been Busy!

It’s been a while since our last update! As most of you know we are expecting a baby boy this November and just recently moved into our new home. Needless to say, it’s been a busy quarantine. We are so grateful for everyone’s well-wishes.

Newlyweds in New England

Hi friends and family!

I’ve been meaning to post some photos from our fabulous honeymoon here on the site.  We’re going to keep this site open, at least for the near future. You’ve come this far with us on our journey, why not come along for the newlywed ride?

It’s hard to believe we’ve been married for just about 50 days. Where does the time go? We’ve been so busy since the honeymoon. All of a sudden, all of those things we said we’d worry about or do after the wedding are rising to the surface, since, it is in fact, after the wedding. (Anyone else tell time based on the wedding? It was either before the wedding, or after the wedding.. don’t ask me to be more specific).

Anyway, we’ve been busy, but I’m finally here to share some highlights from our New England Brewery Tour Road Trip Honeymoon. We ventured to Connecticut, Massachusetts, went up  to Maine, and then hit Vermont on the way back. It was beautiful, relaxing, fun, cold, and I may still be drunk?

Here are some of our favorite pictures from the trip. -Stacy

Best Day Ever

Well, all, we did it! As we climb out of the post-wedding blues (how is it over already?!) and try to ride this high, we can’t thank you enough for following along on this journey with us. From our epic engagement on May 7, 2018, all the way through the happiest day of our lives on October 12, 2019, we’ve felt the love and support of our family and friends.

Here are a few photos from the best day ever, courtesy of our amazing photographer, Olivia Christina.

We’d like to give a special shout out to the amazing vendors and venues we worked with for the wedding:

We will continue to post photos and videos and tag all of our amazing vendors! We cannot recommend them enough! Now, we’re gearing up for our honeymoon, so stay tuned for photos from New England in a few weeks!

With love,
The Fagiolis

Getting Closer!

We are truly at the final countdown… fewer than 20 days away! We strive to make sure this website has as much of the information you need as possible. Most questions can be answered by reading our updates, the FAQs, etc., but here is an overview to make sure all of our guests are set!

Is Everything Happening at the Brewery?

Yes, it’s all happening at the brewery. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all take place at Triumph Brewing. Please arrive by noon so we can get the ceremony started on time. There will be reserved seating for 24 members of our family and guests of the wedding party. All others will have the opportunity to stand. The staff at the venue will be there to assist you.

How Do I Get There and Where Do I Park?

If you’re staying at the hotel, a shuttle can get you to and from the hotel to the venue. If you’re not staying at the hotel, you’ll need to get to Triumph Brewing and find parking on the street or at a parking garage nearby. There are three parking garages located nearby: Spring Street Municipal Parking Garage, Hulfish Garage and Chambers Street Garage. Additionally there are a few municipal lots with some parking located around Nassau Street.

What Happens When the Wedding is Over?

After the wedding, you’re welcome to belly up to the bar (and start your own tab!) or venture out and what Princeton has to offer. Hotel guests will also be invited to a small after party along with the wedding party and family after the wedding. Since the wedding is a daytime affair, we opted for an after party instead of a hosted brunch the following day, but the hotel does serve both a continental and full breakfast, and there are tons of options in the area! There is information available on our site and in the hotel welcome bags regarding the after party as well as other options for meals and activities during the weekend.

Hope this helps make you all feel comfortable and ready! If there is a question that our site does not answer, feel free to reach out to us….before October 12.

We can’t wait for you to join us on our special day!
Stacy and Andy

Why Princeton?

You may have heard of Princeton, New Jersey, but why did we choose to have our wedding here? What else is there to do and see in town?

Hopefully this update can shed a little light on the historic little city of Princeton, New Jersey.

Our Venue: Triumph Brewing Company

Triumph Brewing Company opened up in Princeton way back in the year 1995. At the time of this publication, it is one of only two breweries in New Jersey that serves food! Stacy and I knew we wanted to do something a bit different for our wedding, but we weren’t quite sure what. That “what” was answered as soon as we stepped into the long hallways of Triumph Brewing Company in Princeton.

We fell in love with the unique layout of the brewery and the awe-inspiring fermentation tanks house behind glass directly behind the main bar. Most importantly, we loved the beer and food. We hope our guests also fall in love with this brewery when they join us at our wedding in October.

Sites to See! Foods to Eat!

The amount of historic landmarks and places to see in Princeton can fill a book, let alone a weekend! Princeton is also home to some great shops and restaurants that you can’t miss! Here are a few can’t-miss landmarks and eateries located very close to Triumph Brewing:

Nassau Hall

Princeton University’s Administrative Building houses more history than you can shake a stick at. According to Vacation Idea, this site was “designated as a National Historic Landmark by the U.S. Department of the Interior in 1960, visitors can meander through halls that once welcomed the New Jersey Legislature, the Congress of the Confederation, and the first United States President, George Washington. “

Palmer Square

Located right down the road from Triumph, Palmer Square is the perfect place to take a stroll! According to their website, “Palmer Square is a treasure trove of shops, restaurants and things to do. Stroll the tree-shaded sidewalks and take in charming colonial architecture complemented by modern elements. Visitors consider Palmer Square a ‘must-see,’ but for locals, it’s simply known as ‘home.'”

The Nassau Inn

You know that spot in a college town where all the locals hang out? The Nassau Inn is the Ivy League version of that. Enjoy some delicious food or a drink while perusing the Princeton Wall of Fame that includes the likes of astronauts, presidents, billionaires and Brooke Shields.

The Bent Spoon

The Bent Spoon is one of those “seriously, you were in Princeton and you didn’t go to” spots. Making ice cream so good it verges on urban legend, the Bent Spoon is located right down the street from our wedding venue in Palmer Square. Be warned: the wait might be long, but it’ll be worth it!

Terhune Orchards & Winery

Terhune Orchards and Winery is Princeton’s local farm and a great stop on a fall day! Located a few minutes from downtown Princeton, it’s a great place to stop on the way home for some homemade apple pie. According to Vacation Idea: “Everyone has heard about their delicious apple pies and cider, but there is much more you can do there, especially if you are visiting with the kids: you can pick your own apples and pumpkins, play with farm animals, visit the Farm Store.”

As you can see, there is plenty to do in Princeton, and this is only a small sampling. We hope you’ll make the most of the long holiday weekend and check out some family friendly places, make a date night, or take in some history!

I Said Yes to the Dress!

People keep asking how wedding planning is going, and they’re shocked when we tell them that it’s going really well. We’ve gotten a lot done, and we aren’t stressed. Granted, we have like, 400 days, but still!

One of the areas of planning that did stress me out a little was dress shopping. Before the engagement party, I decided I would schedule some consultation and shopping appointments so that I’d have time to research and browse before jumping in. I scheduled four appointments and my mom and Stephanie, my maid of honor, were planning to come with me to each of them. My goal was to decide on a dress by September.

A lot of people asked about dress shopping, so I’ll tell y’all on here. I set up four appointments at places I had heard great things about or found through some research, all pretty local. My first appointment was at Say I Do in Verona. The boutique was very cute, and considering it was my first bridal dress shopping appointment, I didn’t know what to expect. The staff was kind and helpful, but truth be told, I did not feel like I got the attention that I needed, especially since it was my first time! Me, my mom, and my cousin all picked out dresses, and it was a little overwhelming, not having any direction. However, we did have fun, drinking wine and champagne. I found two dresses that I loved, so we took note of them and put them in “the winners’ circle”. While I did love the two out of several that I tried on, I had not yet had the *feeling* that 54,068 women told me I would have – P.S, ladies, that’s a lot of pressure to put on a new bride, so maybe tone that down a little?

After shopping, we went right down the road on Bloomfield Ave. to mine and Andy’s favorite restaurant, Cloverleaf Tavern, where Andy and Christian met us for dinner. We had a blast, and it was the perfect way to celebrate my first appointment.

The following week was my second appointment, and I was so excited. Not only did I know what to expect now, but everyone had told me how great i do… i do… in Morristown is! And I have to say, what a difference! Lex, my bridal consultant, sat with me and asked me about our venue, colors, what dresses I liked, etc. I felt listened to and special. Before heading back to pick out dresses for me that fit what I had showed her, she even took our champagne to the back and opened it for us. I tried on about 6 dresses, some that I loved, and then, it happened. I felt the feeling! I felt amazing and my mom and Stephanie loved it too. Lex asked me point blank if I wanted to get married in the dress, and I said yes! It got even more REAL when she put a veil on me!

The whole experience, from start to finish, was amazing. The three of us went to The Committed Pig after for more wine and dinner to celebrate.

So I had said yes to the dress, but I still had two more appointments scheduled, which I obviously cancelled. The first was at Park Avenue Bridals, which we still may check out for Mother of the Bride or bridal party dresses. The  final appointment, and perhaps the one I was most excited for, was a White Carpet appointment at Bella Sposa Bridal. But, oh well! I am so in love with my whole look for the day and cannot wait to wear it! I’m so glad to have one more big item checked off the To Do list!

Meet Our Officiant! – Jeffrey Albanese

Jeffrey is my cousin, and we have been very close since childhood, even living as neighbors when we were very young. Jeffrey is lovingly known as the “Godfather” of “La Familia”, a name that was given to our very tight knit group of cousins. When Andy entered the picture, he passed all of Jeffrey’s test with flying colors, and the two have bonded over a shared love of the New York Yankees. Andy and I have a ton of respect for Jeffrey as a family man and police officer, and he has been like a big brother to us both. We are honored to have Jeffrey be a part of our special day! Jeffrey is pictured here with his son Bennett, lovingly referred to as BB, who has taken upon the duty of bringing Andy a special Paw Patrol toy on the big day!
